Did you hear the fantastic news?!!! The Oklahoma Legislature is investing $7 million in the renovation of the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore. There will be a new event center, collections room, ADA issues solved and a new entryway. This will be the biggest investment in the Museum since its inception in 1938.
Because of this, the Foundation has committed to update the exhibits in the Museum to better tell the inspirational story of Will Rogers. We are going to create the Will Rogers – World Citizen Experience.
Our world desperately needs a great Citizen Role Model, and there just isn’t anyone better than Will Rogers. His character should be emulated by others and so we will be focusing not only on Will’s life, but the character traits that made him the most beloved person in American History.
Integrity, Work, Enthusiasm, Relaxing, Laughing, Learning, Serving, Exploring, Empathy and Humility are all traits of Will that people can work on and share with others.
With the upcoming 100th Anniversary of Route 66, aka the Will Rogers Highway, it is our goal to have all the renovations completed by 2026, and to do that, we must start now.
We are asking you to help us create and implement the World Citizen Experience that will truly impact the globe. Your Membership brochure gives you numerous options to consider and we even have major legacy donation options. We encourage everyone to watch the short 6-minute video.
